Wonderful wedding.

Last Friday my sister got married and did the whole traditional white wedding. It was such a brilliant day, one I'll never forget and I was honoured to be her chief bridesmaid. The weather was definitely not kind so we improvised and held a drinks reception inside the church after the ceremony and got to use our lovely parasols! Here are a few pictures from the day. How amazing does she look? I'm borrowing her headband as soon as I have an occasion to wear it!

  1. You and you're sister look beautiful, love the colors. Do you know where your sister got the fabulous brollies from? I'm getting married Jan 2012 and I'm expecting rain (or even snow!). xxx

  2. Thanks loveaudrey! My mum picked up the umbrellas from TKMaxx - they were a god send and the photographer took some nice shots of us with them.
If you do a search for Edwardian Parasol / umbrella on ebay - the same style comes up too.

Off to read your blog now! x

The dresses were by Dessy and called sailor blue I think S&L. x
