Forever 21 Birmingham UK opening launch in Bullring

Opening 12th November 2010. So the count down is on! Most of you will have heard Forever 21 is opening its first uk store in Birmingham UK and work is clearly in progress.

I took a walk into Birmingham at the weekend and as you can see from my photos work is clearly in progress. I think i'm right in saying it will be the third biggest store in the Bullring after Selfridges and Debenhams - how exciting!

Three floors of clothing and accessories that won't break the bank. Its situated next door to River Island and Topshop on the upper level and next door to Vision Express on the middle level. They are advertising for jobs too on the Bullring website..

These shoes have popped up on several US blogs and if they are stocked in the Birmingham I will be snapping up a pair.
Here are a few other items i'd like to check out too.

Dinner date - Simpsons Birmingham

For dinner last night I was taken to Simpsons for an amazing meal, champagne, scallops, loin and shoulder of lamb, chocolate kirsch parfait and petit fours. The food was really excellent but the desserts and petit fours were out of this world. The service was great and the Maitre d' loved my shoes!

I opted for my favourite little black dress for the occasion.

GHDs saved!

I used this company recently and had such good service I thought i'd do a little thumbs up piece on here.



My GHDs are about 8-9 years old now and were still going strong until recently. One of the plates came loose and was hanging off by a wire. I checked how much it would be for a new pair about £100 which although expensive after that much use over 8-9 years is fairly good value. I did a quick google search though to check about repairs and saw this site http://www.ghdsrepair.co.uk/, after another google of the name and some good feedback, I paid £19.95 online and sent them the next day recorded delivery. They were returned less than 48 hours later with a free heat mat and new shiny plates. It was briliant service, and if for some reason they can't fix your straightners, they will refund you and post them back.

My friend sent hers off with a dodgy cable on the same day and got the same service.

Im very glad I didn't fork out for a new pair and thought it may come in handy for anyone whos straightners have died or are on the way out and you can't quite face buying a new pair just yet!

The working week is nearly over for me, I have a fairly restful weekend lined up - wedding dress shopping with my best friend, afternoon tea which I will have to look longingly at as im moving on to the next phase of the Dukan diet on saturday. I've been so good but I am seriously craving some fruit right now. Also a casino visit on saturday night, lets hope for a little win, maybe I could buy something from above!
