Food from the Forge

Dinner out on Thursday night at The Drop Forge, a new pub right here in the Jewellery Quarter, Birmingham. It still has the old machinery on display and lots of cosy nooks and crannies! I love the exposed brickwork and the leather sofas, the outdoor roof terrace will be fantastic in the summer. I'm looking forward to a sunday lunch there holed up in a corner with the papers.

We ate, asparagus and smoked bacon, chicken liver pate and toasted bread, rump steak with gratin potatoes and Toulouse sausage and oinion mash.
