Colonia del Sacremento - Uruguay

Hello, i'm back. We had such a fantastic trip, it was a busy few weeks, three countries, three, currencies, two languages, endless passport stamping, beautiful cities and relaxing towns.

I have so many photos so the next few posts will be very photo heavy before I resume the usual posts.

Thanks so much for the comments on my scheduled posts whilst I was away, i'll be replying to any questions soon.

First up was Colonia del Sacremento, a stunningly pretty world heritage town on the River Plate, cobbled streets with vintage cars, cute cafes and I think I should let the photos do the rest of the talking!

This blog is straight from the streets of Brooklyn hence the name Brooklyn Blonde. Helena's style is easy and a very similar kind of style i'd go for I think. I love the neutral colours she wears with little pops of colour here and there.

Im in love with this Marc by Marc Jacobs clutch in bright orange. I spied it in Selfridges last weekend and didn't want to put it down!

Style steal

Really popular all over blogland, the YSL arty rings are shining on so many peoples fingers. The price tags are around £150 which is pretty steep considering they aren't even real silver or gold although I still want one despite this....!!

 

I came across these rings and thought YSL immediately and although they aren't a blatent copy you can see the influence behind them and what a steal too. You can buy them here Bimba&Lola  

Vintage COW event - Birmingham

Unfortunately I won't be there as i'm still out of the country but if you live in or near Birmingham, hot foot it down to the store on the 22nd March 7.30pm-9pm for the Moody Cow walk show and discount on the night.

Cow Vintage is a boutique full of vintage goodies for both men and women, stocking a range of vintage clothing, footwear, and accessories originating from the 70's to 90's. COW has teamed up with a group of innovative creative’s from the Birmingham Institute of Art and Design (BIAD). The MA Fashion, Textiles and Media team will be organizing and co-hosting the event, including the choreography and styling of the catwalk show, designing visual merchandising layouts and promotion work.'

Buen Viaje!

We're finally off, after months of waiting, online research, getting to grips with the guidebooks, our travels have finally come around.

We will be taking off tonight and finally touching down in Uruguay later tomorrow afternoon followed by a couple of local bus rides to reach our first destination. Its going to be one long journey but i'm so excited for the adventure that awaits us.

I'm not planning on blogging  whilst over there but may drop in if time / internet connection allows. I have scheduled a couple of posts over the next few weeks.

This latest blog im loving, Vintage Mavens comes from Miami and stars the gorgeous Shareen. I love that most of the clothes she features you can buy in her vintage store. I also love her orange lipstick.

The location shots around Miami just make me realise how much I want to be back there.....
