I haven't done a post in this series for a little while now so it was time to get back posting the blogs i'm currently addicted too. You can view all of my other reccomendations by clicking the 'Blog i'm loving' image further down on the right hand side.
I have been reading this blog since the summer and read most of her previous posts too. Angelica Blick, is a Swedish blogger and I can't get enough of her wardrobe, hair, and lipstick. Mainly high street and vintage clothes - no designer items out of my price range!
Currently my number one hair inspiration but more to come of that soon!
I hope you all had great weekends. Mine started on Thursday night when I was invited to the launch of the new Spiceal Street at the Bullring Birmingham. The party was held in Browns restaurant and bar.
I took my friend Anna along and we had great fun trying the many drinks on offer and delicious canapes. The restaurant is very stylish, nicely laid out over two floors with an outdoor terrace on each level.
We will definitely be heading back at somepoint to try out the menu!
I wore the leather-esque trousers for the first time and paired with my cream blouse and suede ankle boots and livened up the outfit with red lips and wine clutch.
Blouse - Topshop Trousers - H and M Boots - Topshop Clutch - American Apparel Ring - Calvin Klein
The leather (faux) trousers are so much more flattering than I thought they'd be, I'm hoping they get a lot of wear over the winter. The clutch was my purchase using the KG ELLE gift card I mentioned here. I decided on bright fushia instead of the muted grey or blue! Full marks to KG delivery too - ordered in the afternoon and delivered the following morning.
You may have seen one or two of these if you follow me on Twitter - I'm still a newbie and looking for more people to follow - let me know if you are on there and you can follow me if you want snippets of my days! @DollonFashion
A couple of photos from the halloween party at the weekend. Matt went at as beetlejuice and was very convincing! I was a sort of halloween scarecrow. I don't have a full photo of my full outfit but it involved denim, wellies and alot of hay everywhere!
Photos from the Harvey Nichols 10th Birthday party. If you follow me on twitter you would have seen me raving about this party and seen a few preview pictures - it was simply AMAZING!
It had everything, a circus theme, fantastic entertainment, fashion shows, great drinks, yummy nibbles, a Mulberry photo booth, and a dress-up box with photographer (you might have seen the photos on twitter!) I met some Birmingham bloggers for the first time too. The entrance to the Mailbox was transformed.
This is photo heavy post.....
The after party was held at the Loft lounge where we met Sian from Tea an Toast and her boyfriend we had great fun with them and as we were slightly worse for wear by this point and headed for home in the early hours.
I can't thank Harvey Nichols enough for the invitation, it was a spectacular night! Here is a little video with all the action.
